With the introduction of the Mavic 3 Multispectral, all drones from the Phantom 4 series have been replaced by Mavic 3 systems, including the recently announced Mavic 3 Enterprise and Mavic 3 Thermal.
The RGB camera is equipped with a 4/3-inch CMOS and 20MP image sensor, while the multispectral camera captures details that are not visible to the human eye. By combining the images from both cameras, the Mavic 3 Multispectral can perform highly accurate surveys, monitor crop growth, and conduct research on natural resources. The drone’s RTK module provides centimeter-level positioning, allowing for precise measurements without the need for ground control points.
The Mavic 3 Multispectral also features O3 video transmission for ultra-long-range video transmission up to 15 kilometers, as well as omnidirectional obstacle detection for added safety. Additionally, the drone can be integrated into various ecosystems through the built-in DJI Cloud API and Mobile SDK 5 (MSDK5), providing new opportunities for smart agriculture.
